The aspiring filmmakers want to develop an American TV series about a rock and roll group. They formed a musical quartet called The Monkees, it was comprised of Micky Dolenz (drummer), Michael Nesmith (guitarist), Peter Tork (keyboardist) and Davy Jones (lead vocals). Producer Don Kirshner managed their music. In 1966, the television show was aired presenting the catastrophes of a struggling band.
